About Me

picture of me

I’m a writer.

I’ve called Brooklyn home for 15 years but have maintained the majority of my midwestern sensibilities (overly-apologetic, self-deprecating, cheese, etc.).

My work is focused on elevating the experience of software and services by designing intuitive user flows and product copy, engaging in-app learning, and clear and concise help content across a variety of media.

I managed product release content and communications strategy for Namely, the leading HR and payroll platform, for six years. Working in a cross-department role to champion clients’ health and happiness, I oversaw the administration of our internal and external knowledge bases, implemented enterprise-wide NPS and CSAT methodology, and wrote or edited nearly every word our clients read, whether in the platform or their inbox.

In a previous life, I covered television and music for SPIN Magazine, news and culture for Death & Taxes (RIP), and appeared in the pages of Billboard, the Billfold, and other publications.
